Offerings

A short list of small-group practices and private sessions for nervous-system regulation, deep rest, and steady attention. Available in Dundas, Ontario, near Hamilton.

A hand resting gently on the heart in low candlelight during a breathwork session at The Black Salt Room in Dundas, Ontario.
Active

Breathwork

Slow, intentional breathing patterns that shift the body out of sympathetic 'fight or flight' and into parasympathetic rest. Held in small groups by candlelight.

What to expect

Guided somatic inquiry, extended exhales, a steady sense of grounding, and techniques you can carry into daily life.

A linen-covered bolster and wooden yoga block arranged on a dark studio floor, lit by amber candlelight.
Restorative

Yin Yoga

A slow, floor-based practice where shapes are held for three to five minutes to reach the deep connective tissues. An invitation to soften and notice.

What to expect

Floor-based postures held long enough to find fascial release, cooling energy, and steady mental quiet.

A plant silhouetted against a dim window at evening, the room around it deep in shadow.
Rest

Restorative Yoga

The most supported practice. The body is held entirely by props so tension has nowhere to hide. Lit by candle, designed for deep rest.

What to expect

Minimal movement, generous use of bolsters and blankets, and the kind of relaxation that feels closer to sleep.

A close-up of a hand resting in a meditative mudra against the soft glow of candlelight.
Stillness

Meditation

Guided and silent meditation to cultivate presence and steady attention. Small groups, or private one-on-one work shaped around what you need.

What to expect

A quiet held space, varying techniques from mindfulness to body scan, and time for integration afterward.

A worn linen couch arranged with candles and dried flowers, a quiet gathering corner of the studio.
Community

Seasonal Circles

Small gatherings held to mark the turn of the seasons. A few hours of shared practice, conversation, and quiet reflection.

What to expect

Intimate group discussion, structured reflection around the solstices and equinoxes, and a sense of belonging.
