Yin Yoga
A slow, floor-based practice where shapes are held for three to five minutes to reach the deep connective tissues. An invitation to soften and notice.

Yin yoga works the connective tissues, the parts of the body that get short and stuck after years of sitting, running, or holding tension. Long, supported holds let those tissues hydrate and lengthen. The mind, having nothing to chase, follows.
What a session looks like
Five or six shapes across a sixty-minute class. Each held for three to five minutes with props arranged for support, not strain. We close with a short rest and a few minutes of unstructured stillness before you head back into the night.
Who yin yoga is for
Anyone who runs hot in the rest of their life. People who are flexible in body but stuck somewhere else. People who have tried louder yoga and want something quieter. No prior experience needed, and we will work around old injuries.
Pair it with breathwork
Yin and breathwork sit well together in the same day. Many regulars do yin midweek for the body and breathwork on weekends for the nervous system.

Other practices
Breathwork
Slow, intentional breathing patterns that shift the body out of sympathetic 'fight or flight' and into parasympathetic rest. Held in small groups by candlelight.

The most supported practice. The body is held entirely by props so tension has nowhere to hide. Lit by candle, designed for deep rest.
